This involved being the voluntary Rent Smart Wales representative for the trustees of a rented medieval grade two listed house belonging to the church. One of the tasks involved being responsible for instigating the installation and leading the necessary prior processes of a new shared sewage system. This was required as the property was not on main drains and the outdated cesspool was malfunctioning and did not meet modern sewage disposal standards. Following this successful installation, which is buried in the garden, a decision was instigated to sell the property due to various factors that related to the condition of it, rented accommodation legislation and the availability of very limited finances to conduct repairs.
